Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to give you an estimate, do your job well and stay in touch if you ask us to. We don’t sell your information, and this site uses no tracking or advertising tools.
1. Who this covers
This policy explains how Peinture Quali-T Pro (“we”, “us”), based in Embrun, Ontario, handles personal information from website visitors, people who ask for an estimate or subscribe to our newsletter, and our clients. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for clients in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).
2. What we collect

About photos: please avoid sending photos that show people, house numbers, licence plates or documents. If they do, we use them only to prepare your estimate.
3. How we use it
- to prepare and send your estimate, and follow up on it;
- to schedule, carry out and invoice your job, and handle warranty requests;
- to answer your questions;
- to send our newsletter, only if you subscribed;
- to keep business and tax records required by law;
- to keep this website secure.
We don’t use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell or rent it.
4. Consent
When you send the estimate form, you agree that we may contact you about that estimate. We send the newsletter only with your express consent, as required by Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL). Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to unsubscribe. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits; this may mean we can’t prepare an estimate or complete a job.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:
- our email and phone providers;
- our website host and, if used, our form-processing service, which deliver your estimate request to us;
- our newsletter platform, if you subscribed;
- our accountant and bookkeeping software, for client invoices and payments.
They must protect your information and may use it only for the service they provide to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
6. Where it is stored
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Ontario, outside Quebec or outside Canada (for example in the United States). When that happens, your information may be accessible to authorities there under local law. Before transferring information about Quebec residents outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected, as Quebec law requires.
7. How long we keep it
- Estimate requests that don’t become a job: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Client records (contracts, invoices, payments): as long as tax law requires, generally 6 years after the end of the tax year, and for the length of any warranty.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Photos you sent for an estimate: deleted with the estimate request, unless you agreed in writing that we can use them.
8. How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards: password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in where available, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for this site, access limited to the people who need it, and secure deletion when information is no longer needed. If a privacy incident creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
9. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- give you a copy of it (Quebec residents may also request it in a structured, commonly used format);
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent, or delete information we no longer need;
- stop sending you the newsletter.
Email services@qualitpro.ca. We answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
10. Privacy officer and complaints

If you aren’t satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
11. Children
Our services and this website are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version. If we make a significant change, we will say so on this page.
